ACCME offers a number of workshops to support the professional development of CME providers and system stakeholders.  Workshops are designed to help CME professionals of all skill-levels develop strategies to ensure their organizational compliance with ACCME Criteria and Policies.  Below is a listing of ACCME's educational workshops and offerings.  For a complete list of all upcoming ACCME events, please click here.

2010 ACCME Regional Forums:  Building Leadership, Building Value

The ACCME will continue to extend the opportunity for state accreditors, accreditation volunteers, and state-accredited providers and their stakeholders to participate in regional workshops led by ACCME's senior staff.  This year's meetings will include half-day professional development seminars to help participants develop strategic and tactical approaches for positioning their CME programs as value assets in their health care organizations.
 
The 2010 ACCME Regional Forums will take place:
  • Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in New York, New York
  • Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in St. Louis Missouri
  • Monday, October 18, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada

What is the purpose of this workshop?

  • Provide leadership within your organization to position CME as a Bridge to Quality
  • Plan CME activities to address practice-based learning and change in compliance with the ACCME 2006 Criteria
  • Conduct a reflective self-assessment of your organization's compliance with ACCME Criteria and Policies
  • Identify resources that will help you with your own professional development and the training of your colleagues and faculty
  • Develop an action plan for achieving Accreditation with Commendation
  • Contribute to the national CME system as an informed professional

Who should attend the "Bridge to Quality" workshop?
CME professionals and their stakeholders—at all levels of skill and experience—will find the "Bridge to Quality" workshop an invaluable opportunity for professional development. We welcome the participation of both nationally-accredited and state-accredited organizations.
 
The workshop is also a great way to learn more about seeking accreditation, but first, see if you are eligible to be considered by visiting our information for first time applicants.

Preparing Your Self Study Report? Gearing up for Reaccreditation?
The ACCME provides a SELF STUDY FOR ACCREDITATION session by invitation only to providers who are preparing for reaccreditation. For more information, contact postmaster@accme.org.
