Workshops



ACCME offers workshops to support the professional development of CME providers and system stakeholders.  Workshops are designed to help CME professionals of all skill-levels develop strategies to ensure their organizational compliance with ACCME Criteria and Policies.  Below is a listing of ACCME's educational workshops and offerings.  For a complete list of all upcoming ACCME events, please click here.

Registration for the April 2012 Workshop is now available!  Spaces are limited - so reserve your spot now. 

The August 2012 Workshop registration will be open in Spring of 2012.  Please check back if you are interested in attending the August meeting.


          ♦   April 19-20, 2012 
               > A Newcomers' pre-conference will be offered on April 18th.
               > A Self Study for Accreditation Session will be offered by invitation only on April 18th for providers who are expecting their next
                  decision in July 2013, November 2013 and March 2014.

          ♦   August 16-17, 2012

» What is the purpose of the ACCME workshops?

          ♦   Plan CME activities to address practice-based learning and change in compliance with the ACCME 2006 Criteria
          ♦   Conduct a reflective self-assessment of your organization's compliance with ACCME Criteria and Policies
          ♦   Identify resources that will help you with your own professional development and the training of your colleagues and faculty
          ♦   Develop an action plan for achieving Accreditation with Commendation
          ♦   Contribute to the national CME system as an informed professional
          ♦   Provide leadership within your organization to position CME as a Bridge to Quality
